We never give cash, but pay bills directly to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the help that they deserve.

The Joshua Harr Shane Foundation was created in 2000 to honor the memory of Joshua Harr Shane, who was passionate about helping others and pursuing a career in medicine. At the Foundation, we strive to continue Joshua's legacy by providing social services and support to individuals and families in need. We understand that life can be challenging at times, which is why we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Creative Art Workshops for Adults with IDD
In partnership with Grounds For Sculpture, the Joshua Harr Shane Foundation is pleased to announce the return of our Creative Art Workshops. This program is specifically designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who have transitioned out of the school system, providing engaging and enriching experiences that are often limited for adults over 21.
This program, now in its second year, offers a series of hands-on workshops that include a guided tour, an art project, and a wellness activity.
